L'Onda vince il Palio di Siena

La contrada dell'Onda ha vinto ieri il Palio di Siena dedicato alla Madonna dell'Assunta col fantino Carlo Sanna, detto Brigante, sul cavallo Porto Alabe. Sia Sanna che Alabe sono alla loro prima vittoria in piazza del Campo.

L'ultimo Palio vinto dall'Onda risale al 16 agosto 2013: con oggi è alla 41/a vittoria. Nove, e non dieci, le contrade che hanno corso questo Palio dopo che nel pomeriggio di ieri il sindaco di Siena, Bruno Valentini, aveva escluso la Lupa a causa del "responso unanime" del collegio veterinario che aveva "sancito l'impossibilità di correre per un'insorta zoppia all'arto posteriore destro" del cavallo Quore de Sedini.
